Born in a small beach town in Granada, Spain, in an artistic family and a very creative community of European expats that included painters, musicians, and architects.

I was inspired and influenced from an early age through my father’s work as a developer/architect of traditional Andalusian architecture. An also, by my mother that worked with my father and brought her British creativity to his projects.

We travelled extensively through Europe, spending half the year in England. Received BFA in fine art and interior design from the University Alfonso x El Sabio, Madrid, Spain and completed additional studies at the New York School of Interior Design and Digital Design at Parsons School of Design, New York.

I was part of the team at Steelcase organizing “Leader’s Breakfast” annual event for the corporate office furnishing industry for 3 years whilst also working with internationally recognized designer Clodagh, known for her emphasis on sensual textures and unexpected details. Clodagh had lived extensively in southern Spain so there was an instant connection.

Left Clodagh after 2 years and started working for Stephen Watkins developing residential projects in Sag Harbor and at the same time a line of furniture and accessories for Varga’s furnishings inspired by Peruvian materials like silver and alpaca.

Joined Jenny Pedersen in our idea of bringing to Washington DC the latest designs that we could find in Europe. We consolidated this idea with the opening of the store called, Vega. Vega allowed us to be in constant exposure of young designers and their prototypes. How designers were responsible for what we were to purchase for our spaces/homes and witnessed how the idea of DESIGN grew and matured into what we see now.

Left New York and started my design office in Madrid renovating apartments, wellbeing offices and small offices for banking firms. Together with my husband we started purchasing old buildings and apartments in Madrid and fully renovating them to put back in the market. Our design studio is currently working on residential spaces in Madrid, the north of Spain and Washington DC.
