Elizabeth lives in Brooklyn and makes ceramics inspired by art forms in nature from her Williamsburg studio. She graduated from Earlham College in Indiana in 1994 with a major in ceramics, where her work was heavily influenced by Japanese ceramic traditions. She began her career as a studio assistant at New York City’s storied Greenwich House Pottery in 1999, going on to New Clay Studios and later Scholes Street Studios, founded by Peter Lane. Her sculpture and design work has been exhibited internationally and she is represented by Studio Tashtego in Cold Spring, NY.
