Nair Nascimento

Nair Nascimento is a licensed architect in Brazil and a certified neuroarchitecture specialist through IPOG (2021), with a focus on user-centered design in architecture and interior environments. She currently lives and works in Ohio as an Architectural Designer at AODK, where she contributes to projects across healthcare, commercial, hospitality, and institutional sectors.

With over six years of professional experience in architecture, Nair has worked on residential, retail, corporate, healthcare, and interior design projects, developing solutions under both Brazilian and U.S. building codes. Her work combines technical expertise with evidence-based design principles, emphasizing the relationship between the built environment, human behavior, well-being, and performance.

Before transitioning fully into architecture, Nair earned an Associate degree in Fashion Design (2008) and spent more than eight years working as a branding designer and illustrator on national and international projects. This multidisciplinary background continues to influence her design approach, bringing together creativity, visual communication, and human-centered thinking.

Passionate about the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and architecture, Nair explores how thoughtful design can foster healthier, more engaging, and meaningful spaces for the people who use them.
