My name is Zoe Willig, and I recently earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington, where my work focused on human well-being in the built environment. I have always been interested in how the spaces around us shape daily life, from how we feel and focus to how we relate to one another.
My research interests sit at the intersection of neuroaesthetics and evidence-based design. In college, I worked as an EMT and mental health crisis counselor, which influenced how I think about care, stress, and the environments people inhabit. My experience includes biophilic design research and the development of an AI tool using computer vision to study emotional responses to workplace environments.
I'm from Seattle and enjoy swimming and playing tennis around the city!
