Amy embraces beauty in space and the landscape, seeing the world through unique, inspiring opportunities. As a child, she would often crawl around her house backwards with her head upside down in search of new frontiers, while challenging her own perspective. Exploring the large patch of woods next to her house, she created a variety of magical places throughout for distinct, sensory rich experiences, challenging her perspective on a greater scale by building forts and blazing trails – seeking “portal views” of wonder – to the mystery beyond. These early experiences formed an important foundation and deep connection to love of place and landscape, a continuous catalyst for her creative growth and for finding new ways to share this with others.

Challenging perspectives and perceptions continues to drive her work as a passionate designer and an inventive, future-driven thinker and visionary. Connecting with people, working collaboratively and sharing in the creative process, motivates her everyday work and personal life. Seeking and developing novel methods for how to support, enhance and expand upon these connections and shared experiences, continues to offer her new landscapes for exploration.
