Gabriela Gallareto
Architect and Interior Designer
Libertad, Uruguay
My name is Gabriela, I am an architect and interior designer from Uruguay.
Since 2011 I have worked on different studios and projects, and I have trained myself by going in depth, both in regular courses and in personal research that allowed me to integrate into my vision, of architecture and design, a wide variety of disciplines that influence the formation and perception of the spaces we inhabit.
In 2020, I formed my own interior design studio (@gabig.uy), which is based on this personal and integrative approach, where we work taking as a starting point the link between people and spaces, integrating studies from different disciplines (scientific, psychological and philosophical among others) and shaping environments that invite more conscious living.
I also have a podcast, in Spanish, which is called Alquimia del Espacio, where I reflect about how inhabit our spaces is also a way to inhabit ourselves.
In this way, my work lies at the intersection of spatial creation and personal processes, approaching space not only as a physical construction but also as a field of transformation.
My participation in Moving Boundaries is part of my ongoing research and expansion, seeking to incorporate new cultural and methodological perspectives that enrich my practice.
