Barcelona, Spain
Kate Mishchenko is an architect currently based in Spain. She holds a Master’s degree from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She completed her architectural education at the Moscow School of Architecture (MARCH), earning a double Bachelor’s degree in collaboration with London Metropolitan University, where she spent a year as an exchange student. During her studies, she participated in the Compostela Summer School organized by the Compostela Architecture Institute, as well as other international workshops.
Alongside architectural practice, Kate is involved in projects at the intersection of architecture and science. She has contributed to several editions of the Moving Boundaries program, developing her interest in the relationship between people and the built environment and in research-based approach to design.
Before pursuing architecture, she obtained a degree in Finance and worked as a consultant and project manager - with this background she brings an analytical, interdisciplinary perspective to architectural practice.
