Leticia S Deps
Designer and Public Sector Strategist
Vitória, Brazil
Brazilian designer, neuroarchitecture specialist, and public sector strategist working at the intersection of neuroscience, the built environment, and human experience. Collaborates with the Government of the State of Espírito Santo and is affiliated with IBRACHICS – the Brazilian Institute of Neuroarchitecture and Conscious Habitats.
My work focuses on how spatial environments influence cognition, emotion, behavior, and well-being, with a particular interest in sensory perception, safety, and inclusive urban experiences. Develops and applies frameworks that integrate neuroscience, design, and data to improve decision-making in architecture, urban planning, and public policies.
Creator of the Neuroarq-AI Framework™, a methodology that combines neuroarchitecture, technology, and artificial intelligence to assess and optimize environments based on human-centered metrics. Research and practice explore themes such as perceived safety—especially for women in urban contexts—and the impact of environmental stimuli on stress, attention, and emotional regulation.
Also engaged in building global initiatives that expand the role of neuroarchitecture beyond traditional design practice, positioning it as a strategic tool for innovation, policy, and societal transformation.
Lectures internationally and collaborates across disciplines, connecting architecture, science, and emerging technologies. Current focus includes scalable platforms for sensory diagnostics and the development of knowledge ecosystems linking research, practice, and industry.
