Robin Willcox

Architect
Manchester, USA

I am an architect at Ebbrell Architecture + Design in the greater Boston area, focusing on commercial work throughout New England.

After a BS in Business from the University of California, Berkeley, I moved to Boston to study at the Boston Architectural College, where I earned an M.Arch. and am now co-chair of the Alumni Advisory Board.

I began my design career at Carr, Lynch, Hack, and Sandell (CLHS) in Cambridge, MA. I worked on projects that spanned architecture, landscape design, and urban design, and was part of the team that won an international competition for the Perth Foreshore Master Plan in Perth, Australia.

I have served on the Planning Board in the town of Hamilton, MA developing expertise in the public land-use planning process and policy-making.

I am certified in Trauma-informed Design (TiD-B) and a member of the Trauma-Informed Design Society; also a member of ANFA and Habitarmonia, and this will be my third Moving Boundaries conference after Compostela/Porto in 2022 and MB Nordic in 2024

My ‘red thread’ is to create environments that encourage human physical and social well-being, and to integrate landscape and nature with building design to restore the environment.
