Architect, Educator, Landscape Architect
Thane, India
Anisha Bhadgaonkar is a graduate of VESCOA, affiliated with Mumbai University, whose passion for landscape and neuroarchitecture stems from a deep appreciation for the ways our environments shape human experience and emotion. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the psychological impact of spatial design, sparking a lasting interest in the connection between architecture, behavior, and well-being.
Having grown up traveling to diverse regions, Anisha developed a strong curiosity for how different landscapes influence the human psyche. This exposure also deepened her interest in vernacular architecture and its timeless synergy with local context, culture, and nature. She explores how traditional design practices and natural environments can come together to create spaces that are not only visually compelling but also emotionally and psychologically enriching. Through her work, Anisha strives to create meaningful, context-sensitive environments that nurture both mind and spirit.
