Oleg Raspopov

Urban Designer, Landscape Architect
Budapest, Hungary

Oleg Raspopov is a practicing architect, the organizer of the architectural studio YOarchitects.com, based in Moscow and Budapest. He received a Master’s degree in Architecture from LMU and is a member of the Union of Architects of Russia. Thanks to his extensive architectural practice working with small towns, he
developed a deeper understanding of the problems of urban and territorial development. Public spaces offer an opportunity to create new connections in the city, establish new traditions and find new paths of development.

Oleg is engaged in the promotion of human-oriented urban design, which takes into account the emotional, cognitive and physiological needs of users. As a practitioner, he combines continuous research into residents’ needs, contextual culture and the identity of small towns. Parks are the best place for self-expression in society - a space where individuals can completely immerse themselves in nature.

On his way to a deeper understanding of human interaction with nature, Oleg joined Moving Boundaries in Stockholm and Helsinki. Before beginning his career in architecture, Oleg worked as a creative director at the advertising network Publicis, and received an MBA with a focus on cultural clusters as centers for the development of industrial territories.
